How it works

From first call to handover.

01

Free Site Assessment

Our engineer visits the site, checks concrete sub-floor flatness, moisture levels, humidity conditions and structural load capacity. Surface system and underlay type recommended based on sport, usage intensity and hall dimensions.

02

Sub-floor Preparation

Concrete sub-floor levelled, cleaned and moisture-sealed. Any unevenness exceeding 2mm over 2m corrected before underlay installation — sub-floor flatness is critical to long-term floor performance.

03

Underlay System Installation

Shock-absorbing resilient underlay panels installed in a floating configuration — no adhesive bonding to the concrete. This allows the floor to expand and contract with seasonal humidity changes without warping or gaps.

04

Hardwood Flooring Installation

Tongue-and-groove maple or beech strips laid in running bond pattern over the underlay system. All boards acclimatised to site humidity before installation. Expansion gaps maintained at all perimeter walls.

05

Sanding and Surface Finishing

Floor sanded to a smooth, level surface. Two to three coats of professional polyurethane sports lacquer applied. Surface hardness and slip resistance verified before line marking.

06

Line Marking and Handover

Sport-specific line markings applied in up to 6 colours using certified water-based floor paint. Full handover with floor care manual, warranty certificate and EN 14904 compliance documentation.
